1. A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
identifying an overlap between resources for transmitting a scheduling request (SR) and a transmission occasion for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback;
determining which one of the SR or the HARQ feedback to transmit to a base station based on a relationship between a first beam for an uplink control channel for the HARQ feedback and a second beam for downlink communication; and
transmitting the SR or the HARQ feedback based the determination,
wherein if the relationship is the first beam for the uplink control channel does not follow the second beam for the downlink channel, the HARQ feedback is transmitted.
