1. A device for receiving a container for a consumer product, comprising:
an enclosure in a form of a coaster for receiving the container;
a sensor module housed in the enclosure in the form of the coaster and that comprises a weight sensor, the sensor module being configured to sense a change in a weight of the consumer product contained in the container corresponding to use of the consumer product, wherein the weight sensor is configured to measure the weight of the container in response to the sensor module detecting that the container has been received by the enclosure; and
a communication module housed in the enclosure, the communication module being in communication with the sensor module, the communication module being configured to wirelessly transmit data about the use of the consumer product from the sensor module based on the sensed change in the consumer product.
