1. A networked computer system for displaying images associated with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on electronic gaming machines (EGMs), comprising:
a player tracking device coupled to a corresponding EGM located within a casino property, the player tracking device configured to monitor wagering activity associated with the corresponding EGM; and
a computer server coupled to the player tracking device and the corresponding EGM, the computer server including a processor programmed to execute an algorithm to display an animated sequence of computer-generated images on a display device of the corresponding EGM including the steps of:
receiving a request to initiate a gaming session at the corresponding EGM from the player tracking device, the request including a patron ID identifying a player;
querying a patron account database to determine a blockchain user account ID associated with the received patron ID;
querying a blockchain system to identify a casino charm NFT owned by the blockchain user account ID;
querying a charms content database to retrieve image data associated with the identified casino charm NFT;
determining a charm luck value associated with the identified casino charm NFT indicating wagering activity associated with the identified casino charm NFT by:
querying the charms content database to retrieve wagering activity associated with the identified casino charm NFT; and
determining the charm luck value based on the wagering activity associated with the identified casino charm NFT; and
rendering a game screen on the corresponding EGM displaying a wagering game and images of the identified casino charm NFT and the determined charm luck value.
