1. A method of preparing lithiated carbon phosphonitride material, the method comprising reacting LiN(CN)2 with (diphenylamino)dicyanophosphine.
 
2. A method of preparing lithiated carbon phosphonitride material, the method comprising reacting LiN(CN)2 with (diphenylamino)dicyanophosphine in γ-valerolactone.
