a second operating mode in which the reference portion of the telescopic apparatus is arbitrarily arranged at any location between a first end position and a second end position that define a moveable range of the reference portion of the telescopic apparatus in the second operating mode,
wherein the first operating mode is a preset position setting mode in which the reference portion of the telescopic apparatus is selectively arranged to one of the plurality of predetermined positions that are spaced apart from one another within the movable range of the reference portion,
and the second operating mode is an arbitrary position setting mode in which the reference portion of the telescopic apparatus is arbitrarily arranged at any location between the first end position and the second end position that define the moveable range of the reference portion.
