1. A method, comprising:
receiving one or more extended physical broadcast channel (EPBCH) transmissions, wherein the one or more EPBCH transmissions are transmitted over a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) according to a time-domain pattern, and wherein the time-domain pattern is based on a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission period; and
processing the one or more EPBCH transmissions to obtain system information.
