1. A method, comprising:
determining, at a first server, a first metadata associated with a first video content subscribed to by a user, wherein the first video content includes over-the-top (OTT) video content;
determining, by the first server, if a user account associated with the user is linked to a client device that is capable of receiving over-the-air (OTA) video content;
in response to determining that the user account is linked to the client device, retrieving, at the first server via a second server, a second metadata associated with a second video content available for consumption by the user, wherein the second video content includes OTA video content;
processing a user request for managing recording of the OTA video content by:
creating, by an OTA streamer device associated with the user, a recording schedule for a recording a program from the OTA video content,
transmitting, by the OTA streamer device, the recording schedule to the second server, and
receiving, by the first server, the recording schedule from the second server for including the recording schedule in a unified listing that includes a listing of programs from both the OTT video content and the OTA video content;
combining, at the first server, the first metadata with the second metadata to include in the unified listing; and
displaying, at a client device associated with the user, a graphical user interface (GUI) to present the unified listing.
