1. A method for processing video data, comprising:
performing a conversion between a visual media data comprising a video unit and a bitstream of the visual media data according to a rule,
wherein the rule specifies that a first filter is conditionally applied for modifying reconstructed samples of the video unit, and wherein the first filter modifies the reconstructed samples by applying a statistical computation to the reconstructed samples,
wherein the first filter comprises a window, wherein the statistical computation includes applying weights to a sample to be modified inside the window and a mean value within the window, and wherein the statistical computation is determined according to:
samplefilterted=a×samplecenter+b×meanwin
where samplefilterted is a modified sample, a and b are weights, samplecenter is the sample to be modified inside the window, and meanwin is the mean value within the window.
