1. A decoding method, comprising:
determining a current block;
deriving a motion vector of the current block; and
generating a prediction block for the current block using the motion vector of the current block, wherein
the motion vector of the current block corresponds to a sum of a motion vector of a candidate in a list and a motion vector difference,
first information indicating the candidate among candidates in the list is decoded based on a maximum number of the candidates in the list,
a first indicator representing direction information of the motion vector difference and a second indicator representing distance information of the motion vector difference are used,
precision information for the motion vector difference is used, and
the precision information indicates whether the motion vector difference uses only an integer sample precision.
