1. A device comprising:
a first housing having a front surface;
a second housing coupled to the first housing;
a projector residing at least partially within the second housing and oriented to output content within a projection area that is in front of the device, the projector being offset from the front surface of the first housing;
a first sensor residing within the second housing, the first sensor having a first field of view (FOV) that at least partially overlaps with the projection area, the first sensor being offset from the front surface of the first housing;
an emitter residing within the first housing and configured to output infrared (IR) light in front of the first housing;
a second sensor residing within the second housing, the second sensor having a second FOV that at least partially overlaps with the projection area, the second sensor being offset from the front surface of the first housing and configured to receive at least a portion of the IR light to detect touch input on the content;
at least one microphone residing proximate a top of the device;
at least one loudspeaker residing within the first housing;
one or more proximity sensors residing within the second housing;
one or more processors; and
one or more computer readable media storing processor executable instructions which, when executed using the one or more processors, cause the device to perform operations comprising:
determining, based on the one or more proximity sensors, that an object is within proximity to the projector, and
based on the determining that the object is within proximity to the projector, causing the projector to cease emitting light.
