1. A method, comprising:
determining one or more resource units (RUs) based on an RU allocation table; and
performing wireless communications using the one or more RUs,
wherein the RU allocation table comprises at least a combination of a plurality of aggregations of multiple RUs,
wherein the determining of the one or more RUs comprises performing either a first procedure or a second procedure,
wherein the first procedure comprises:
selecting the one or more RUs from the RU allocation table; and
transmitting a first signal to one or more stations (STAs) to indicate the selected one or more RUs to be used for the wireless communications,
wherein the second procedure comprises:
receiving a second signal that indicates the one or more RUs to be used for the wireless communications; and
selecting the one or more RUs from the RU allocation table responsive to receiving the second signal,
wherein each of the first signal and the second signal contains a 9-bit index with a value indicating a respective portion of RU allocation from which the one or more RUs are selected from the RU allocation table,
wherein two most-significant bits (MSBs) of the 9-bit index indicate whether the RU allocation table is a small-RU allocation table for RUs equal to and fewer than 106 tones a large-RU allocation table for RUs equal to and more than 242 tones and single RUs equal to and more than 242 tones, and
wherein the performing of the wireless communications comprises signaling a RU Allocation Mode field indicating the RU allocation table, among a plurality of RU allocation tables, to be used for small multi-RU scheduling, large multi-RU scheduling or regular single-RU scheduling.
