1. A method for storing information on a computer network, comprising:
receiving, at a second computing device from a first computing device, data to be stored as propagating signals over one or more network connections of the network for a duration of storage;
generating, by the second computing device, a data packet including the data and accessing instructions having a parameter necessary for retrieving the data from the one or more network connections of the network;
transmitting, by the second computing device to a node of the network, the data packet, the network comprising one or more nodes and the one or more network connections, wherein each node of the network is configured, for the duration of storage, to receive the data packet, and upon receiving the data packet, execute instructions to transmit the data packet to another node of the network over an associated network connection, whereby the data packet is stored as a propagating signal over the one or more network connections of the network for the duration of storage; and
retrieving, by the second computing device, the data packet from network connections of the network according to the accessing instructions, wherein retrieving the data packet includes accessing the data packet at an index location of an existing data loop.
