1. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
identifying, for at least one or more candidate beams, indications of a downlink throughput, an uplink throughput, a downlink power consumption, and an uplink power consumption;
selecting, from the one or more candidate beams, a first beam for receiving downlink data and a second beam for transmitting uplink data based at least in part on:
a ratio of the downlink throughput and the downlink power consumption, and
a ratio of the uplink throughput and the uplink power consumption; and
communicating using the first beam and the second beam,
wherein the first beam and the second beam are different.
