1. A capacitor comprising:
a positive electrode foil;
a negative electrode foil; and
a separator disposed between the positive electrode foil and the negative electrode foil, wherein
the negative electrode foil includes a carbon layer,
the separator is in contact with the carbon layer,
the separator includes separated carbon that is separated from the carbon layer, wherein the separated carbon is adhered to the separator,
the separator has a density [symbol: ρ, unit: g/cm3] satisfying the following formula:

where WPA is an amount of carbon per square centimeter of the separator [unit: μg/cm2], and
the amount of carbon is a set adhesion amount of the separated carbon or an actual carbon adhesion amount of the separated carbon.
