1. A virtual reality device configured to output a virtual reality (VR) experience, comprising:
a processor coupled to memory and a display, the processor configured to:
generate the VR experience choreographed to a physical procedure comprising a plurality of procedural actions each associated with a sensation comprising a perception of one or more of actual or potential pain, anxiety, or presence, wherein the choreographed VR experience comprises a plurality of VR components, wherein each VR component is coordinated with a procedural action of the plurality of procedural actions to modify the perception of one or more of actual or potential pain, anxiety, or presence associated with the respective procedural action.
