1. A light detection and ranging (lidar) device comprising:
a plurality of light sources configured to emit light signals, wherein the light signals are directed toward a scanning zone of the lidar device;
an electromagnetic driving system configured to modify the scanning zone;
a plurality of light sensors configured to detect reflected light signals;
one or more beam-steering optics configured to direct the emitted light signals or the reflected light signals; and
a controller configured to control the electromagnetic driving system using one or more control signals.
