1. A method comprising:
at an electronic device in communication with one or more input devices and a display generation component:
displaying, via the display generation component, a mapping application including a first point of interest with indications of one or more associated entry points for entering the first point of interest in accordance with entry point data stored for the first point of interest,
wherein the entry point data for the first point of interest defines (a) the one or more associated entry points for entering the first point of interest and (b) one or more locations corresponding respectively to the one or more associated entry points for the first point of interest;
while displaying the mapping application, receiving, via the one or more input devices, input requesting modification of the entry point data stored for the first point of interest, the input requesting addition of a user-suggested entry point for entering the first point of interest at a particular location,
wherein the particular location for the user-suggested entry point is different from the one or more locations corresponding respectively to the one or more associated entry points for entering the first point of interest;
responsive to receiving the input requesting modification of the entry point data stored for the first point of interest via the addition of the user-suggested entry point and in accordance with a determination that the user-suggested entry point meets validation criteria:
modifying the entry point data stored for the first point of interest in the map data at least by:
creating, in the entry point data for the first point of interest, a new entry point for entering the first point of interest with the particular location for the user-suggested entry point, wherein no entry points previously existed for the first point of interest at the particular location in the map data; and
rendering a map view, via the display generation component, with the first point of interest to include an indication of the user-suggested entry point for entering the first point of interest at the particular location; and
displaying, by the mapping application, the map view.
