1. An adjustable support arm, comprising:
a) an upper arm having a first end and a second end;
b) a lower arm having a first end and a second end;
c) a spring having a first end and a second end;
d) a linkage for providing a dynamic attachment point for the second end of the spring, wherein the linkage comprises:
i) a first link having a first end, wherein the first end of the first link is connected to the upper arm at a position between the first end and the second end of the upper arm; and
ii) a second link having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the second link is connected to the lower arm at a position between the first end and the second end of the lower arm, and wherein the second end of the second link is pivotally connected to a second end of the first link; and wherein the first link and the second link are of equal length.
