1. A bottom hole assembly for a wellbore, comprising:
a drill bit;
a plurality of drilling tools comprising:
a first sensor configured to capture a first instantaneous measurement of a measurement type at a first location along a drill string, wherein the first sensor has a first measurement frequency; and
a second sensor configured to capture a second instantaneous measurement of the measurement type at a second location along the drill string, wherein the second sensor has a second measurement frequency; and
processing circuitry configured to:
compare the first instantaneous measurement and the second instantaneous measurement to determine a difference between the first instantaneous measurement and the second instantaneous measurement;
determine that the difference is greater than a threshold corresponding to an inference of high frequency torsional oscillation having a high frequency torsional oscillation frequency, wherein the first measurement frequency and the second measurement frequency are less than the high frequency torsional oscillation frequency by at least one order of magnitude;
send an indication of an occurrence of high frequency torsional oscillation in the bottom hole assembly; and
cause a change in a rotational rate of the drill bit using the indication of the occurrence of high frequency torsional oscillation.
