1. A downhole tool comprising:
a tubular body;
ribs extending along a circumference of the tubular body; and
at least one polymeric closed-cell foam member disposed on the tubular body and between the ribs,
wherein the at least one polymeric closed-cell foam member comprises between 5% and 80% air pockets in a non-compressed state,
wherein the at least one polymeric closed-cell foam member is configured to collapse when fluidically exposed to either increased pressure or to mechanical load from expanding the tubular body to form a foam member in a compressed state, and
wherein the collapsing of the at least one polymeric closed-cell foam member thereby reduces a volume of the at least one polymeric closed-cell foam member to urge full engagement of the ribs against a casing.
