1. A method of configuring a subsea arrangement so as to establish a fluid flow between a hydrocarbon well and a flow line, the subsea arrangement being provided in a subsea location and comprising a subsea station, a subsea flow line, and a first retrievable connection module, the first retrievable connection module comprising:
a first fluid port and a first connection profile which is releasably coupled to the flow line so as to permit a fluid communication between the flow line and the first fluid port;
a second fluid port and a second connection profile which is releasably coupled to the subsea station so as to permit a fluid communication between the hydrocarbon well and the second fluid port; and
a utility arrangement which is configured to alter or to monitor an aspect or a characteristic of a fluid flow between the first fluid port and the second fluid port;
the method comprising:
a step A of, in the subsea location, disconnecting the first connection profile from the flow line so that the fluid communication at the first fluid port is restricted and disconnecting the second connection profile from the subsea station so that the fluid communication at the second fluid port is restricted;
a step B of retrieving the first retrievable connection module from the subsea location;
a step C of providing a second retrievable connection module having a first fluid port and a first connection profile, a second fluid port and a second connection profile, and a utility arrangement which is configured to alter or to monitor an aspect or a characteristic of a fluid flow between the first fluid port and the second fluid port, the utility arrangement having a different configuration to the utility arrangement of the first retrievable connection module; and
a step D of, in the subsea location, connecting the second connection profile of the second retrievable connection module to the subsea station so as to permit a fluid communication between the hydrocarbon well and the second fluid port, and connecting the first connection profile of the second retrievable connection module to the flow line so as to permit a fluid communication between the flow line and the first fluid port.
