1. A method of winding a cable winch, in which method cable winding layers are wound one over the other,
wherein a plurality of cables or cable ends are wound in the cable winding layers comprising multiple strands onto the same winding region of the cable winch such that in each of the cable winding layers, the plurality of cables or cable ends are wound adjacent to each other,
wherein the plurality of cables or cable ends are wound side by side in the same sequence in each of the cable winding layers,
wherein successive cable winding layers are wound with pitches opposite to each other so that the cable winding turns of successive cable winding layers cross each other at an acute crossing angle,
wherein a separate cable guide element is used for each of the plurality of cables to guide each cable in an axial direction and a direction transverse to the axial direction, and
wherein the plurality of cables are guided such that the plurality of cables are wound onto a cable drum with a spread in terms of an offset in a circumferential direction defining an acute spread angle when viewing the cable winch in the direction of the cable winch rotation axis.
