1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a hardware processor, a wired representation of a lattice structure of a three-dimensional (3D) part to be additively manufactured within a build chamber of an additive manufacturing apparatus, wherein
the wired representation defines the lattice structure as a plurality of nodes at specified positions and interconnected by a plurality of struts, without defining thickness of the struts;
receiving, by the hardware processor, a mechanical property that the lattice structure of the 3D part is to have upon being additively manufactured by the additive manufacturing apparatus;
identifying, by the hardware processor, a location within the build chamber at which the 3D part is to be additively manufactured by the additive manufacturing apparatus;
applying, by the hardware processor, an adjustment factor to the wired representation of the lattice structure as a function of the location within the build chamber at which the 3D part is to be additively manufactured, to generate an adjusted wired representation of the first lattice structure that still does not define the thickness of the struts of the lattice structure; and
specifying, by the hardware processor, the thickness of the struts of the lattice structure within the adjusted wired representation such that the lattice structure satisfies the mechanical property upon being additively manufactured by the additive manufacturing apparatus at the identified location within the build chamber in accordance with the adjusted wire representation of the lattice structure.
