1. A method for tracking game objects used in a plurality of video games, comprising:
receiving a request to transport a digital asset associated with a user in a first video game to a second video game, the digital asset earned by the user for a significant event that occurred in the first video game, the digital asset corresponds to a first game object usable in the first video game and is associated with a non-fungible token (NFT);
evaluating attributes of the digital asset, wherein at least some of the attributes define capabilities of the first game object that is usable within the first video game;
translating the capabilities of the first game object in the first video game to comparable capabilities that are appropriate to the second video game by mapping the attributes of the digital asset in the first video game to a comparable second set of attributes identified to be appropriate for the second video game, wherein the comparable capabilities are identified based on a context of a portion of the second video game where the comparable capabilities are to be used to exert effects expected in the portion of the second video game; and
transporting the digital asset from the first video game to the second video game, in response to the request, the transporting allowing the attributes of the digital asset to be usable by the user to progress in the second video game,
wherein the transporting includes automatically updating the NFT to associate the digital asset with the second video game.
