1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
providing, using at least one processor, a video game or online game;
integrating an application programming interface (API) with the video game or online game;
displaying an advertisement on a three dimensional (“3D”) or four dimensional (“4D”) object associated with the video game or online game, wherein the advertisement is targeted marketing that is based at least in part, upon one or more of a collection of game-factors, wherein the displayed advertisement is determined by one or more bidders participating in an auction; and
enabling communication via the API with a virtual advertising marketplace that communicates electronically via one or more APIs with at least one of a game developer, an advertiser, an advertising agency, and the game user.
