1. An implantable medical device comprising:
circuitry comprising stimulation circuitry configured to deliver stimulation to an upper-airway-patency-related tissue;
a power element to supply power to the circuitry; and
an electrode array including a first electrode,
wherein both the power element and the circuitry are sealingly contained within a housing sized and/or shaped for implantation within a head-and-neck region of a patient,
wherein the array includes at least one second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode,
wherein the first electrode is located on the housing associated with at least one of the respective circuitry and power element, and
wherein the at least one second electrode is located separate from, and independent of, the housing.
