1. A system for delivering at least two gases to a patient, the system comprising:
a respiratory device including:
a pressurized gas outlet configured to release a pressurized gas, and
a secondary gas outlet configured to release a second gas;
a patient mask;
a patient circuit for delivering the pressurized gas and the second gas to the patient mask, the patient circuit including:
a first lumen configured to fluidly couple the pressurized gas outlet to the patient mask, and
a second lumen configured to fluidly couple the secondary gas outlet to the patient mask,
wherein the patient circuit is configured to be coupled to a side of the patient mask relative to an orientation of the patient mask when the patient mask is worn by the patient such that the pressurized gas and the second gas enter the patient mask from the side; and
a leak structure,
wherein the system is configured such that (a) some of the pressurized gas leaks to an environment external to the patient mask and the patient circuit via the leak structure during delivery of the pressurized gas, and (b) the second lumen bypasses the leak structure such that the second gas does not leak to the environment external to the patient mask and the patient circuit via the leak structure during delivery of the second gas.
