1. A hair care composition comprising a conditioning gel phase with an aqueous emulsion of a branched organopolysiloxane comprising monomer units of:
silsesquioxane having a formula (RSiO3/2)n
where
n=1, and
R is an alkyl group, and
polydialkylsiloxane, wherein the polydialkylsiloxane comprises dimethiconol;
the conditioning gel phase being formed from a cationic surfactant wherein the cationic surfactant is selected from cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC), behenyltrimethylammonium chloride (BTAC), protonated stearamidopropyldimethylamine, and mixtures thereof, a 25° C. or higher melting point fatty compound and an aqueous carrier; and
the aqueous emulsion of the branched organopolysiloxane comprising an aqueous continuous phase of water and a cationic surfactant or a blend of non-ionic and cationic surfactants and a dispersed phase of the branched organopolysiloxane and a hydrocarbon oil, wherein:
the weight ratio of the branched organopolysiloxane to the hydrocarbon oil is 40:60 to 65:35;
the dispersed phase of the branched organopolysiloxane and a hydrocarbon oil make up from 0.05 to 3.5% by weight of the hair care composition;
the fatty compound is present at a total weight range from 0.01 to 10 wt % based on the total weight of the hair care composition;
the weight ratio of cationic surfactant to fatty compound is from 1:1 to 1:10;
and the aqueous emulsion has a particle size of 5 to less than 12 microns Dv(50).
