1. A location detection system, comprising:
an elongate body having a distal end and defining a lumen through the elongate body;
a first sensor positioned along the elongate body at or in proximity to the distal end of the elongate body;
a second sensor positioned along the elongate body proximal to the first sensor;
one or more openings located along the elongate body between the first and second sensors, wherein the first and second sensors are positioned on the elongate body such that the first and second sensors are translatable through a catheter lumen such that the first and second sensors and the one or more openings are each positioned distal to a terminal opening of the catheter when measuring at least one parameter of a mixture of a first fluid and a second fluid after the first fluid is emitted from the one or more openings and into the second fluid;
a controller in communication with the first and second sensors, wherein the controller is configured to receive a signal indicative of the at least one parameter of the mixture and is further configured to obtain a position of the first and second sensors within a vasculature of a body of the subject based upon the signal.
