1. A method of manufacturing an atomizing element for an electronic cigarette, comprising:
providing a porous body comprising a liquid absorbing surface for absorbing liquid and an atomizing surface; and
forming a porous heating film on the atomizing surface by vapor deposition;
wherein the porous body is provided with a plurality of micropores, the porous body is made of porous ceramic and insulated from the porous heating film, a diameter of the plurality of micropores on the porous body is greater than a thickness of the porous heating film.
