1. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a base station, configuration information on a control resource set (CORESET) via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling, the configuration information including a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for the CORESET;
receiving, from the base station, an activation command for activating two TCI states for the CORESET among the plurality of TCI states via a medium access control-control element (MAC CE) signaling; and
receiving, from the base station, two physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in the CORESET,
wherein demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports of the two PDCCHs in the CORESET is quasi co-located with reference signals of the two TCI states for the CORESET, and
wherein the method further comprises:
identifying an identifier for configuring PDCCH repetitions to a first search space set and a second search space set; and
receiving same downlink control information (DCI) based on a first PDCCH monitoring occasion corresponding to the first search space set and a second PDCCH monitoring occasion corresponding to the second search space set, as a response to an index of the first PDCCH monitoring occasion being identical to an index of the second PDCCH monitoring occasion.
