1. A system for managing transmission of one or more synchronization signals in a wireless network, the system comprising:
a node, the node configured to wirelessly communicate with a set of user devices in a geographic service area; and
one or more processors configured to perform operations comprising:
determining a mobility factor for a plurality of user devices in a geographic service area, and the geographic service area comprising a first portion of the geographic service area and a second portion of the geographic service area, the first portion of the geographic service area being distinct from the second portion of the geographic service area, wherein the mobility factor for the plurality of user devices represents a likelihood of each user device of the plurality of user devices to move within the geographic service area;
determining that each user device of a first set of user devices of the plurality of user devices is located within the first portion of the geographic service area;
based on a comparison of the mobility factor for the first set of user devices to one or more predetermined thresholds, determining a first synchronization signaling periodicity for the first portion of the geographic area; and
transmitting, from the node to the first portion of the geographic service area, a first series of synchronization signals to the first portion of the geographic area with the first synchronization signaling periodicity, wherein the first synchronization signaling periodicity is greater than a default synchronization signaling periodicity based on a determination that the mobility factor for the first set of user devices is less than a first predetermined threshold of the one or more predetermined thresholds.
