1. A dispatcher user interface suitable for display on a display screen at a public-safety answering point (PSAP), the dispatcher user interface configured to:
provide a GUI widget that a dispatcher can utilize to activate a responder network that includes one or more automated external defibrillators (AEDs) of an emergency incident;
display an accepting AED icon on a map that includes a location of the emergency incident, the accepting AED icon being indicative of a location of a first AED that has been used to accept the emergency incident; and
periodically update the placement of the accepting AED icon on the map to show an updated location of the first AED, whereby the dispatcher may see an estimation of a then current location of the first AED as the first AED is transported to the location of the emergency incident.
