1. A crane client device for facilitating a truck spot check-in in a distribution facility, comprising:
a client device disposed within a crane;
a display operably coupled to the client device and configured to display a crane user check-in interface; and
a processor operably coupled to the client device and capable of executing machine-readable instructions to perform program steps, wherein execution of the machine-readable instructions to perform the program steps includes spawning a plurality of concurrent computer processes each configured to process at least a portion of the machine-readable instructions to increase a speed of execution of the machine-readable instructions, the program steps comprising:
receiving a message having a first notification to alert a crane operator of a check-in instance via the client device;
displaying the message on the display operably coupled to the client device;
generating, via the client device, an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) including one or more selectable options allowing the crane operator to generate a comment, wherein the one or more selectable options include a pre-generated list of comments displayed on the client device;
initiating a communication session on the client device, wherein the communication includes a transfer of at least one message including the comment using the interactive GUI, wherein the at least one message includes one or more of an instant message, an audio data message, and a video data message, and wherein the at least one message is packetized during the transfer of the at least one message;
generate a second notification from the crane client device once the crane operator has retrieved the relevant container and loaded the container onto the truck chassis; and
complete, cancel, or reject the check-in instance.
