A camera optical lens, comprising a first lens having a negative refractive power, a second lens having a refractive power, a third lens having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens having a positive refractive power, a fifth lens having a negative refractive power, a sixth lens having a refractive power, a seventh lens having a positive refractive power, and an eighth lens having a negative refractive power that are sequentially arranged from an object side to an image side, the camera optical lens consisting of eight lenses,
wherein at least one of the first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, the fifth lens, the sixth lens, the seventh lens, or the eighth lens has a free-form surface, and the camera optical lens satisfies:
1.30≤f4/f≤5.00;
0≤(R9+R10)/(R9−R10)≤4.50,
−1.03≤(R1+R2)/(R1−R2)≤1.02, and
4.00≤d7/d6≤12.00;
where f denotes a focal length of the camera optical lens, f4 denotes a focal length of the fourth lens, R1 denotes a curvature radius of an object-side surface of the first lens, R2 denotes a curvature radius of an image-side surface of the first lens, R9 denotes a curvature radius of an object-side surface of the fifth lens, R10 denotes a curvature radius of an image-side surface of the fifth lens, d6 denotes an on-axis distance from an image-side surface of the third lens to an object-side surface of the fourth lens, and d7 denotes an on-axis thickness of the fourth lens.
