1. A microwave sensing system comprising:
a vacuum cell for isolating a plurality of quantum particles from an external environment;
a laser system configured to provide a probe beam and a coupling beam directed through the plurality of quantum particles, a frequency of the probe beam being settable within a plurality of frequencies; and
a capture system configured to capture a frequency spectrum for the probe beam;
wherein a microwave having a microwave frequency and a microwave electric field strength transits the plurality of quantum particles and intersects the probe beam and the coupling beam in a region, the capture system capturing the frequency spectrum in the region, the microwave altering the frequency spectrum in the region based on the microwave electric field strength; and
wherein the microwave induces Autler-Townes peaks in the frequency spectrum due to Autler-Townes splitting, a frequency difference between the Autler-Townes peaks characterizing the microwave electric field strength of the microwave.
