1. A panel for wireless charging of an electric vehicle comprising:
a metamaterial panel comprising a first shape and a second shape different than the first shape, wherein the metamaterial panel is configured to be positioned between a transmitter coil of a wireless power transfer station (WPTS) and a receiver coil of the electric vehicle during wireless charging of the electric vehicle and change between the first shape and the second shape as a function of at least one of a size of the transmitter coil, a size of the receiver coil, and a distance between the transmitter coil and the receiver coil.
