1. A system comprising:
processing circuitry of at least one of an external charging device or an implantable medical device (IMD) configured to be implanted in a patient, the processing circuitry configured to:
receive a signal sensed from the patient during charging of a rechargeable power source of the IMD;
determine, based on the signal sensed from the patient, a sleep state of the patient; and
adjust, based on the sleep state of the patient, charging of the rechargeable power source of the IMD.
