1. An electromagnetic transducer, comprising:
at least one active air gap; and
a coil configured to generate a dynamic magnetic field, wherein
the coil is spaced away from the at least one active air gap,
the active air gap is a non-axial air gap that has a dimension that varies with transduction; and
the electromagnetic transducer is configured so that the coil moves relative to a stationary component of the electromagnetic transducer when the dimension varies with transduction.
