1. A method comprising the steps of:
receiving, by a first device, first data transmitted wirelessly from a second device to the first device, wherein the data comprises order information associated with a customer input to the second device, the order information comprising at least one item from a menu of a restaurant and identifying information related to the customer;
monitoring, by the first device, a geographic proximity related to the restaurant, the geographic proximity defining the location of the restaurant, wherein the monitoring includes wirelessly receiving, at the first device from a third device, the identifying information related to the customer;
detecting, by the first device, based on the monitored geographic proximity, a vehicle of the user, the detected vehicle indicating that the customer is approaching the restaurant to pick-up the at least one menu item;
generating, by the first device, a notification that alerts staff at the restaurant of the customer's presence at the restaurant, the notification requesting the staff to collect the at least one menu item; and
outputting, by the first device, the notification in relation to the restaurant location.
