1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
registering a visual feature as a fiducial element, the registering including:
aligning a reference object and a visual feature;
capturing an image of the reference object and the visual feature;
identifying, in the image, a set of feature points in the visual feature;
deriving, from the image, a coordinate system using the reference object; and
providing a set of measures to each feature point of the set of feature points using the coordinate system; and
placing the registered visual feature in a locale.
