1. A printing device comprising:
a printing engine to selectively output print material;
a replaceable item of the printing engine and having a lifespan;
a subsystem for the printing engine and having controllable parameters;
a plurality of sensors to measure physical characteristics of the printing device; and
logic to control the controllable parameters of the subsystem based on the measured physical characteristics using a machine learning model, to maximize the lifespan of the replaceable item.
