1. A tamper resistant nightlight, comprising:
a body having at least one plug aperture extending from a front side of the body through a rear side of the body configured to align with a first electrical receptacle of an electrical outlet, wherein the tamper resistant nightlight is removable from the electrical outlet and from an electrical wall plate surrounding the electrical outlet;
at least two plug blades extending from the rear side of the body and configured to electrically couple with contacts within a second electrical receptacle of the electrical outlet, different from the first electrical receptacle; and
a locking element coupled to the body and configured to restrict the tamper resistant nightlight from being removed from the electrical outlet unless the electrical wall plate is removed from the electrical outlet.
