1. A device, comprising:
a battery;
a beacon;
a memory; and
a processor, communicatively coupled to the memory, configured to:
determine that a user device is connected to the battery;
determine that the user device is inactive;
cause, based on determining that the user device is inactive and connected to the battery, the beacon to emit a beaconing signal that includes an identifier of the user device and is associated with locating the user device;
determine that the battery is not connected to the user device; and
cause, based on determining that the battery is not connected to the user device, the beacon to emit the beaconing signal that includes an identifier of the battery and is associated with locating the battery.
