1. A method, implemented at least in part by one or more computing devices of a communication platform, the method comprising:
causing to display, via a user interface associated with a group-based communication platform, a first instance of a first workspace associated with a first domain;
receiving, via the user interface, a request to access a second workspace of the group-based communication platform that is associated with a second domain that is different from the first domain;
determining that the request is associated with a first cookie of the first domain;
causing, based at least in part on the request being associated with the first cookie, the request to be associated with a second cookie that is associated with the second domain;
sending, based at least in part on the request being associated with the second cookie, the request to one or more computing devices associated with the second workspace; and
causing, based at least in part on sending the request to the one or more computing devices associated with the second workspace, a second instance of the second workspace to be presented via the user interface.
