1. A pulse laser system comprising an injection system, an optical amplifier system and a beam combiner, the pulse laser system being adapted to generate, on the one hand, an amplified pulse of short duration comprised between 100 fs and a few hundred picoseconds and, on the other hand, another amplified pulse of long duration or respectively a burst of other pulses amplified at a gigahertz frequency having a long duration envelope, the long duration being greater than the short duration and the long duration being comprised between a few picoseconds and several hundred nanoseconds, the amplified pulse of short duration and the other amplified pulse of long duration or respectively the burst of other amplified pulses of long duration envelope being from the same optical amplifier system and, the amplified pulse of short duration being, at the output of the pulse laser system, spatially and temporally overlapped with a relative delay with the other amplified pulse of long duration or respectively the burst of other amplified pulses of long duration envelope, the relative delay being less than or equal to the long duration, the relative delay being adjustable so that the amplified pulse of short duration is applied after said delay relative to the start of the other amplified pulse of long duration or respectively after said delay relative to the start of the burst of other amplified pulses.
