1. A gas filter, comprising:
a pleated netting formed of at least one polymer and a plasticizer, the ratio of polymer to plasticizer ranging from 95:5 to 55:45 by weight;
the pleated netting having one or more diamond shaped apertures for flow of gas therethrough, and further having at least one crease to form a pleat extending across a surface of the pleated netting, and
wherein the pleated netting has a tensile modulus in the range of 1.75 to 1.35 GPa when measured in accordance with ASTM E111-97 method for determining Tensile Modulus.
