1. A glucose monitoring system comprising:
a display device configured to receive displayable sensor information from a sensor electronics module physically connected to a continuous analyte sensor, wherein the display device comprises:
a storage device configured to store at least some of the displayable sensor information;
a display; and
at least one input device;
wherein the display device is configured to detect movement of or along the at least one input device,
wherein the display device is configured to change a glucose data output parameter in response to the detected movement,
wherein the display device is configured to update an output of glucose data using the changed glucose data output parameter,
wherein the display device is configured to display event data on a glucose trend chart at a particular point in time when a corresponding event occurred, the event data being associated with a glucose level monitored by the continuous analyte sensor and including one or more of a calibration reference event, an insulin delivery event, a meal event, or an activity event, and
wherein the event data displayed on the glucose trend chart includes an icon illustrative of the event type proximate to a glucose trend line of the glucose trend chart corresponding to the particular point in time.
