1. A method, comprising:
receiving a first specification of a data protection intent;
automatically determining configurations for a plurality of different data management services in an attempt to achieve the specified data protection intent, wherein automatically determining configurations for the plurality of different data management services in the attempt to achieve the specified data protection intent includes:
analyzing the first specification of the data protection intent; and
determining a second specification of the data protection intent different from the first specification, wherein the second specification of the data protection intent reduces a number of resources needed to achieve the data protection intent as compared to the first specification; and
automatically implementing the determined configurations in the plurality of different data management services.
