1. A system, comprising:
one or more traffic monitoring devices configured to receive one or more vehicle operation signals corresponding to one or more vehicle operations of one or more vehicles driving in an area;
and
a first vehicle control system comprising at least a first processor configured to control a first set of vehicle operations of a first vehicle, wherein the first vehicle control system is configured to perform operations comprising:
receiving a vehicle operation signal from a second vehicle control system associated with a second vehicle, wherein the second vehicle control system comprises at least a second processor, and wherein the vehicle operation signal corresponds to an operational property of the second vehicle;
sending one or more requests to the one or more traffic monitoring devices for a confirmation of the vehicle operation signal, wherein the one or more traffic monitoring devices are separate from the first vehicle control system and the second vehicle control system, and wherein the one or more traffic monitoring devices are configured to:
determine that one of the one or more vehicle operation signals corresponds to the vehicle operation signal; and
send a confirmation of receipt of the vehicle operation signal to the first vehicle control system in response to determining that the one of the one or more vehicle operation signals corresponds to the vehicle operation signal;
verifying that the vehicle operation signal is valid based on the confirmation;
determining a set of vehicle instructions to control the one or more vehicle operations based on the vehicle operation signal in response to verifying that the vehicle operation signal is valid; and
controlling the first vehicle based on the set of vehicle instructions.
